Part-time ORGANIST/PIANIST, BURNET Presbyterian Church, BURNET
Burnet Presbyterian Church is seeking an Organist/Pianist for musical support on Sundays for our traditional worship service. A 15-minute warm-up session with the choir before worship is necessary. An hour or less rehearsal with the choir immediately following the worship service is needed as well. The pay would be $200 per Sunday. Support for the evening Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve services (with additional payment of $100 per extra service) is also needed. Playing for funerals and weddings may be requested if available. FPC is a diverse, vibrant church of about 95 members with a Sunday attendance of about 60 in person and the same number online. Pastoral duties include preaching, providing pastoral care, teaching, developing community and moderating session meetings. The First Presbyterian Church of Kingsville, Texas is seeking a part-time senior pastor that will be willing to live in, or near, Kingsville and be an active part of our congregation and community. The salary of $30,000 will be based on needs and benefits, and is negotiable. A minimum of 24 hours per week is required. Duties include Sunday worship service, communion, church liturgy, moderating the session, performing funerals, weddings, baptisms and visiting shut-ins and the ill.
