Youth Ministry
Youth ministry in Mission Presbytery is coordinated by the Youth Connection Task Force, made up of youth workers and pastors from throughout Mission Presbytery. The YCTF plans and leads three major events each year.
Main Event for Youth
A weekend retreat for 6th-12th graders in late September at John Knox Ranch
Midwinters
A weekend retreat for 6th-12th graders in mid-January at Mo-Ranch
Youth at Presbytery
An opportunity for high school youth to attend the June Mission Presbytery meeting to learn about the governing of the Presbytery (location varies).
Youth at Mission Presbytery have other opportunities to gather throughout the year, including:
Souper Bowl Smackdown
A friendly competition between youth groups/congregations to see who can collect the most food and donations for area food banks during the Souper Bowl of Caring.
Earth Day Service
Youth from throughout the Presbytery gather at John Knox Ranch close to Earth Day each year to help prepare JKR for summer and have fun together.
Regional Events
Youth groups gather together throughout the year with nearby churches for joint events closer to home.
