Youth Ministry

Youth ministry in Mission Presbytery is coordinated by the Youth Connection Task Force, made up of youth workers and pastors from throughout Mission Presbytery. The YCTF plans and leads three major events each year.

Registration for Main Event is now open!

Who: All 6-12th-grade youth and their adults are encouraged to attend!

What: Music, Bible study, service projects, fun, community, and delicious food! We will be exploring Psalm 46.

When: September 26-28, 2025

Where: John Knox Ranch (1661 John Knox Road, Fischer, TX 78623)

Why: To grow closer to God, serve those who have experienced disasters, hang out with your Mission Presbytery youth friends, and find some peace in God's creation.

Cost: $125 per person (Please don't let cost be a reason your group can't attend. We have additional scholarships available for this event, so please reach out if anyone in your group could use some assistance.)

Register your group here. This will take you to register and pay directly with John Knox Ranch. Once you complete your registration, you will receive an email with a form that needs to be completed and signed for each participant. Please register your group by September 12.

Youth at Presbytery

An opportunity for high school youth to attend the June Mission Presbytery meeting to learn about the governing of the Presbytery (location varies).

Youth at Mission Presbytery have other opportunities to gather throughout the year, including:

Souper Bowl Smackdown

A friendly competition between youth groups/congregations to see who can collect the most food and donations for area food banks during the Souper Bowl of Caring.

Earth Day Service

Youth from throughout the Presbytery gather at John Knox Ranch close to Earth Day each year to help prepare JKR for summer and have fun together.

Regional Events

Youth groups gather together throughout the year with nearby churches for joint events closer to home.
