PW Gather for "Fresh Laundered Faith" and Renewed Belonging

On Saturday, January 31, St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Boerne held its Women's Gathering. With 48 women, not all from St. Mark, joined together and shared the theme of Fresh Laundered Faith.

Over the last 10 years the team (that has changed here and there) brings fun, different, thoughtful ways to share Scripture. With guest speakers or speakers from the team sharing well thought out themes to help bring the Scripture to life.

The team plans everything from breakfast and lunch, to crafts that match the theme, decorations, to prayer stations, music, to mission projects for different needs in the community (Hill Country Pregnancy Center, Women's Shelter, as well as others).

Every woman who comes leaves with a smile and comments that it was wonderful. This year, a woman that had been a member for a few years and has helped on the worship committee reported that this the Women's Gathering made her truly feel a part of the church as she had not till then. Each and every Woman who comes we pray will walk out with the feeling of belonging, and growing in her journey with Christ!
