Stated Clerk’s Notes
Updated: 3 days ago
Rev. Laurie Palmer
Stated Clerk
Hi Friends,

I want to thank you for your cards and donations to your local food pantries–I wrote personal notes and hope that I didn’t miss anyone. You made me feel so very loved at the presbytery meeting. I am humbled.
I have a set of “Protestant Prayer Beads” that I need to thank someone for. I think the card and beads got separated by me at some point. If you gave them to me, would you please let me know so I can properly thank you?
The presbytery staff remains grateful to the First Korean, San Antonio, congregation for all of its work, all of its hospitality, all of its grace. If you didn’t hear Rev. Dr. Eunbee Ham (Madison Square, SATX) preach on Saturday morning, find the recording on the Facebook page so you can listen to her. I’m grateful to all who make presbytery meetings possible and meaningful. The best thing about them is seeing friends and meeting new people.

End of 2026, beginning of 2027 communication
After Thanksgiving, I’ll send a communication for Clerks of Session which will include information about the Annual Statistical Report; updating pastors’ terms of call, church information, clerk of session contacts, as well as the session minutes checklist. It’ll also go out at the beginning of 2027. (Between the first email and the second, a new Stated Clerk will be at work. An announcement will be made soon as to who that is.)
This is a heads up to look for this email. If you have elected a new clerk of session this year, please let me know so that I can update the database. My email is statedclerk@missionpby.org.
I’ll be in the office through December 18, (except for Thanksgiving), but will check email through the end of the year. My official last day is December 31.
The peace of Christ be with you,
Laurie
Holy God,
I cannot say “thank You” enough.
Amen.
