Church Safety & Security Training

Be Prepared. Be Equipped. Be a Place of Hope

How do we keep our churches safe while remaining places of welcome, hope, and hospitality? Mission Presbytery invites you to a FREE Church Safety & Security Training on Saturday, January 23, 2027, from 9am–4pm at Cross Roads Church in San Antonio. Led by the PC(USA) Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Team, this hands-on workshop will help congregations prepare for potential threats, develop practical safety plans, and learn how to respond with confidence and compassion. Whether you're an usher, greeter, elder, staff member, or simply someone who cares about the safety of your church family, there's a place for you! You'll leave with valuable resources, practical tools, and actionable steps to take back to your congregation. Training, lunch, and snacks are all free! Space is limited to 50 participants, so register today and help us build safer, stronger, and more prepared congregations throughout Mission Presbytery!
