Mission Presbytery congregations have a unique opportunity this winter to take part in a meaningful, hands-on ministry experience—one designed especially for individuals and smaller congregations who may not have the resources to organize a full mission team on their own.

Faith Ministry, our longtime partner on the U.S.–Mexico border, is hosting its next Mission Trip for All in February 2026. This special trip, supported in part by a Better Together / Serve Grant, invites Presbyterians from across Mission Presbytery to come together to help build safe and stable homes for families in need in Reynosa and the surrounding communities.
This February trip creates a new pathway for anyone who wants to participate. Individuals from small or medium-sized congregations can join a combined group, meet new friends in ministry, and experience the joy of serving alongside our partners at the border.
Why This Matters
Accessibility: Perfect for churches without the infrastructure, staffing, or group size to send their own mission team.
Impact: Volunteers will work directly with Faith Ministry to help build homes, support families, and strengthen cross-border relationships.
Partnership: This opportunity is funded in part by Mission Presbytery’s commitment to supporting collaborative, connectional mission.

We hope that many of our congregations—especially those who have been looking for a way to reengage in hands-on service—will consider sending one or two participants. This is a chance to be part of something bigger, to build relationships, and to make a tangible difference.
Gracias, and we hope to see you on the border in February!
