Throughout the past year, the Better Together Grant has enabled us to purchase supplies for snack packs for our unhoused neighbors. We use these when neighbors come in and have missed breakfast, or when they come on a day when we do not have a program, and still need food. They are always appreciated. I was also able to buy food for the support groups for our unhoused neighbors throughout the year as well.
We also started our ice cream socials yesterday! Because we were able to open for this, we also had Central Health come to help people with the Medical Access Program, and we put volunteers to work bagging up dog food for our neighbors with pets.
Many, many thanks for the generous grant from Mission Presbytery that has helped us continue this work! Â
